Photography has always been one of my passions, along side my spiritual path.
I remember 20 years ago I would really enjoy days out to many National Trust or English Heritage places and take so many photos!
Back in the day I would use my £20 camera, hopefully take good shots and then send them off to get printed!
These days with technology and iPhone this has become so much easier to retake, crop or even adjust lightening with specialised photography apps such as Snapseed etc.
Over the last 8 and a bit years I find myself spending more and more time by the sea, in a little village called Pett Level.
Pett Level is such a special place becsuse I have been spending time down here for over 40 years.
My grandparents bought a plot and a caravan over 50 years ago and to this day still remains in our family.
My husband also has the same connection because his grandparents did exactly the same thing over 50 years ago.
Scott was left his grandparents caravan so we now spend 90% of our time living in our happy place, as we call it!
Being here really bought the creative spark out in me again and led to me creating my own Facebook Page dedicated to my iPhone Photography.
It is now my pleasure to share with you my favourite photos with the opportunity to purchase them for yourself.
Back in 2021, I made the decision to enter a local photography competition for The Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat.
I entered 5 images, the 12 winning images for the calendar were then chosen by comedian Jo Brand who also has a strong emotional connection to Pett Level.
I was so happy to hear that 2 of my images had won and would be in the 2022 calendar.
The biggest news was that one of these images won the overall prize ( Groynes and a Full Moon )
My 2 winning entries Cloud Refection's and Groynes and a Full Moon can be purchased as prints via this website.
I have set up a Facebook Buisness Page for JDB Photography where I am sharing some of my work.
As of July 2024 I am now selling framed prints via my Facebook Page.
This will be a gradual process as I have a lot of photos!
So far I have shared some prints from 2 Collection:
The Inspirational Collection has been created through my love of the area in which I am so grateful to be able to call home.
The Arty Collection as I love all forms of abstract art and playing around with images taken
